What is a beauty roller: The general purpose of a beauty facial roller is to help facilitate in a DIY facial experience at home. The rolling effect deeply massages the under layers of the skin (dermis and hypodermis, where the blood vessels and facial muscles sit) to improve blood flow and deep fluids repartition.  

Use daily to reap the benefits: improved skin tone, elasticity of the skin, reduction of puffiness and wrinkles, toxin elimination and tightening pores.
For extra stimulation and pore tightening, place the roller in the fridge for 10min prior to use.

Cleaning:

After each use, wipe it down with a clean cloth or wipe. Your crystal roller can be deep-cleaned with warm water and soap the way other beauty tools are cleaned. Make sure to pat it dry after cleaning to avoid rusting the metal.

How to use

Use the jade roller after you have applied your blend of concentrates to your moisturiser, cream, oil or serum. The roller can be used chilled fo a cooling effect, we recommend chilling the stone in your fridge 10 minutes prior to using it. Please wipe/clean your roller after every use. See our cleaning section for more advice! 

Forehead: Use large or small side roller - From the centre to the forehead, roll to the left and right, down the temple. Focus attention on fine lines and eyebrow furrow

Eyes: Use small roller to tone the lids and under-eye area. Move from the inner corner of the eye area to the ear

Nasal Area: Use small roller to left up the tip of the nose gently, and then roll back down from side of the nose 

Cheeks: Use large or small side roller - Start from the chin and roll upwards towards the cheekbone

Chin: Use large or small side of roller - Start from the chin and make sweeping motions up under the chin towards the ears

Neck: Use the larger roller - Start from the clavicle area, sweeping upwards towards your chin and ears.

What makes Xaya different?

Other brands offer products with declared levels of key actives, but these are finished products that should be used on their own. They haven't been designed to customised to your own skin care. They can be complicated formulas which contain large numbers of ingredients that could interfere with your own products such as preservatives or fragrances. By using these complicated products, you also end up paying for many ingredients which you may not want to use!
Xaya are concentrates of the key actives and contain only a small number of ingredients so you can exactly decide what you want to add to your skin care. Finally, Xayado not contain preservatives or fragrances which reduces the risk of unwanted interactions with your usual products.

CAN I USE THE CONCENTRATE DIRECTLY ON MY SKIN?

It seems natural to think that the most concentrated the active the better, right? So why not use the concentrates on its own rather than dilute it in my usual skin care products? Most concentrates can be safely used pure, but some maybe too concentrated and make your skin overreact. Always check the dilution ratio of the booster before using for the first time. Actives are best absorbed into the skin when they are formulated or blended with oils and emulsifiers or solvents which can enhance the penetration and bio-compatibility of the active with the epidermis.

This is why we recommend that you dilute the actives according to directions to improve their performance. If you choose to apply the concentrate pure, always top it up with a moisturiser to improve the penetration of the actives and lock the active in the skin.But remember that more is not always better, and all of our concentrates are specifically formulated to be diluted. 

CAN I ADD MORE THAN ONE CONCENTRATE TO MY SKIN OR HAIRCARE?

Absolutely. Our website provides recommendations for the best companion concentrate we offer to maximise efficacy. Our concentrates do not contain preservatives or fragrances and are fully compatible with each other unless specified on the product section, so feel free to mix and match as per your skin or hair needs.

SENSITIVE SKIN, WILL THE CONCENTRATES IRRITATE MY SKIN CONDITION?

We highly recommend patch testings prior to using. However our range allows you to keep your current routine, and our concentrates can be added one at a time in order to help your skin adjust. You can progress gently and at your own pace into more potent skin care by increasing the dosage or using new concentrate as you go.
